Privacy Policy

The short version

• Everything you enter stays on your device. Your worries, plans, and settings are saved only in the app's local storage on your phone.
• We do not collect, store, see, or transmit your personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.
• You are always in control — you can delete any saved worry, or clear everything, from inside the app at any time.

What the app stores (on your device only)

When you work through a worry and reach the summary, the app can save it to a private history on your device so you can look back at it. This may include:

• the worry you described, and the plan you wrote (what you'll do and how);
• whether you chose to act now, schedule it, or let it go, and any date you picked;
• your sound preferences (music on/off and volume).

This information is held in your device's local app storage. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the app, or using Your worries → Remove or Clear all inside the app, deletes it.

Reminders (notifications)

If you choose "Remind me on my phone" for a scheduled worry, the app schedules a local notification on your device for the time you picked. The reminder is created and stored on your phone by the device's own system. We do not receive it and cannot see it. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone's settings.

Adding to your calendar

"Add to my calendar" is optional and only happens when you tap it. It opens your own calendar app with an event pre-filled for you to review and save. The app does not read or change your calendar, and nothing is sent to us.

Links to other services

The app may link out to the Healing Spaces with Kari website (and, in future, an online shop). Opening a link takes you to that site in your browser, where that site's own privacy policy applies.

Fonts

The app's fonts are bundled inside the app itself. Displaying text needs no request to any third party, and the app works fully offline.

Data we collect or share

• Data collected by us: none.
• Data shared by us: none.
• Data sold: never.
• No analytics, no advertising identifiers, no third-party tracking SDKs.

Children

My Worry Tree is intended for adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone (because we do not collect information at all).

Changes to this policy
